Opuntia cacti prefer sunny places throughout the day so it is best to place them outdoors or indoors with plenty of light (near windows, balcony doors, etc.)
Watering should be repeated every time the substrate dries. Usually water very well and then wait for it to dry for about 20 days.
In Opuntia species it is good that the temperature does not fall below 10 °C so it is advisable in the winter months if it is not possible to place them indoors, they are protected from the cold.
